| Free Podcaster & Creator Resources For COVID-19 Posted: 21 Mar 2020 10:09 AM PDT I just wanted to let you know about some of the resources available for podcasters (new or existing), creators, and small businesses during this time of uncertainty. Monetary HelpConvertKitThey made a Creator fund to help creators in this time of need. They will give up to $500 to help cover anything: rent, child care, groceries, medical, whatever. A handful of other companies have contributed to the fund. They have received a ton of applications and if you're in a position to donate to the fund you can reach out to their COO Barrett Brooks (barrett at convertkit.com) to arrange that. SBAThis changed quickly. If you’re a small business in the US, there are now a couple of different programs to pay for employees, rent, or any expenses if you have been negatively impacted. Gravy has an excellent post and webinar to help explain things. You can also visit the SBA site to learn more. SoftwareZencastrZencastr is giving you unlimited guests and recording time on the free Hobby plan for their remote recording software. BuzzsproutBuzzsprout is offering free Pro accounts for:

WhooshkaaWhooshkaa is an Australian podcast hosting company and is offering free private podcasting to schools K-12 worldwide. Rode also partnered with them to offer equipment in Australia. Apply Here. ConvertKitThey updated their free plan to let you send broadcast emails up to 500 subscribers and are giving you access to two of their paid courses. Sign up here. AnchorAnchor is a great podcast hosting option for kids and teachers. It’s free, can be used 100% mobile, and is a great way to learn. CoursesSmart From ScratchPat Flynn of SPI is giving away Smart From Scratch: How to Find a Winning Business Idea & Land Your First Customer. It’s normally $249. Blogging For BusinessAhrefs is giving away Blogging For Business, a $799 course, for free. I’ve gone through part of this course and it’s excellent. Moz AcademyMoz is giving free access to their courses through the end of May, 2020. You can learn everything you ever wanted to know about SEO all in one place.
